Clay Play is my monthly pottery workshop thats focused on getting you out of your head and into getting into a state of play. This is the perfect introductory class for anyone who's clay curious, come with your bestie or make a new one- my classes are small to create an intimate and inviting environment.

In this class I will be teaching you the fundamental handbuilding techniques (pinch pots, slabs and coils), and then you get to play! Come with inspiration or be ready to freestyle- I will be there along the way.

Once you’ve made your piece you have the option to decorate with pottery with underglaze. We use a cream stoneware clay which is food safe clay, and once they are fully dry I will fire them twice, and glaze them in a food safe glaze that will make your pieces dishwasher, microwave and oven safe.

Pieces will be available for pickup in 3-6 weeks - you will be notified via email when they are ready. Shipping options also available for an additional fee.

Please note this is an outdoor workshops, please dress accordingly. Class sizes are capped at 8.

Location: West Side Location will be sent 2 days before the event, close to Ocean Park . Street parking available

Length: approx 2-2.5 hours

Workshop includes:

• All instruction / guidance needed to create your piece

  CLASS POLICIES

• Refunds are available 72 hours before class, minus any service fee ors taxes. After 72 hours you can either be credited another workshop or use your credits to get yourself one of ceramics online.

• Class pieces are limited to 4 small pieces or 2 medium pieces, larger/additional pieces will require a small firing/glazing fee.
